That there is my Author Avatar and General Mascot. His name is 'Gaston Jay' because that's my pen name and what I usually go by on social media. But, you can also call him Biggie Smalls if it tickles your soul in a specific way.

Getting philosophical, huh?
The short of it is that I'm an artist and an author and when I say artist, I'm not the type that's very good at it, I mean, it's pretty good in my opinion, but nothing that would blow anyone's mind. As for 'author', that's where my money's at (0$ and 0 cents and still counting lol). I currently have three novels unleashed upon the world on this little niche website called Wattpad and, I know, those of you who are familiar will think "Hey, you stupid little homunculus! That's where the cringy fanfictions come from!" and you wouldn't be entirely wrong. Despite that website's reputation, my works are original. In the sense that they aren't fanfiction. I do have to admit, those were my first novels ever, so they obviously were a little derivative and amateurishly written in a lot of places but I really want to go back and do it all over again properly, now that I've improved. That's basically what Gaston Jay is, he draws stuff (sometimes related to his work, sometimes fan art) and writes stuff (novels that no one reads lol, lmao even)
Why is your website called Cat Land Productions, by the way?
I didn't put much thought into it, but I guess one of my many pipe dreams is starting up an indie publishing company for novels and comic books that I'd name "Cat land Prod." but hey, the future is always uncertain, and in a social climate like this one, there's no harm nor shame in making the castle of your dreams out of playing cards and hot glue

I have an instagram account, with which I curse the land and masses, but frankly, only about 10% of my art gets uploaded there, everything else gets banished to the dust collecting dimension, so... Everything will be laid out here in full, shameless glory!
Additionally, I'll be posting updates and thoughts about my yet-to-be released novels (Mechamera, Princess Lumiére, and CopéColé) and basically any thought I feel like sharing with whoever stumbled their way into this domain of utter despair and irreverence.

Okay, the novels are here, the art is here, and the website is here. But y'know, most of everything will be here, sorted in neat little tabs, so going to these external websites won't do much other than satiate the bottomless void in my soul that thirsts for validation from strangers and disregards all the good things that he already has, like a complete fool. Woah, what was that all about?
